Phew.. finally finished coloring the lineart of my OC's. In the beginning, I had a hard time deciding on which kind of CG style I wanted to go for. I wanted the picture to be soft but not too soft. I went from cell to half cell and half soft, and then to soft, then erased it because I didn't like it, lol. Finally after 3 days of experimenting, I finally got the CG I wanted, and I love it! <33 Expect to see more of his CG style in my other works <3

Back to the picture, the two characters here are of my OC's:
Girl- MuEnLi
Guy- AnNingLi

They both have the same last names but they are not siblings. Opposite to one another as far as personality wise.
I originally wanted to write a story about these two but I lost interest through time, go figure....
Oh well, they were my first OC's, officially drawn.

Drawn and sketched out on paper, scanned, linearted and CG-ed in photoshop 7.

Illustration and characters are copyright and belong to me, MuEnLi.

Now to work on my submission to the Square- Enix contest lol.

Sounds like you went through quite a bit of "experimenting" to get to the final stage. It turns out great though -- "soft but not too soft." :clap:

Yeah, I sure did, I took long breaks in between because it really frustrated me, and yes, the CG is soft but not too soft like my other one ^_^
