Final project for my DM 205 class: Redo and proposal combination project. Black and White version.

My project was was to redo the band: The Arka Teks poster design and re-create it for the CD album cover design.
The Arka Teks are a new debuting band in Canada that I am a fan of, as a tribute them, I created this CD album cover for them based on their initial poster design.
Despite changing the design, I wanted to keep their overall feel of intellectual design. I accomplished that with the use of an optical illusion and the use of a 3D grid where I redrew their logo on said grid.
Recognition: I submitted my CD album cover designs to The Arka Teks, and they loved it. They plan to use the designs for their T-shirts.
